Ready, Set, Read!
State Senator Li Arellano, Jr is challenging all students entering 1st through 12th grade to read 8 books this summer — are you up for it? You have until August 1st to finish!

How to Join the Fun:

1. You must be a student in 1^st– 12^th grade.
2. Check out the list of participating libraries below.
3. Read 8 awesome books
4. Fill out the quick online form below by August 1st!
5. Wait to receive an official certificate of recognition from the Illinois Senate. Information about a celebratory ice cream social will be provided after the program concludes.
