I invite you to help me honor the men and women who have served our country by sharing a veteran’s photo and story for our annual Veterans Day Wall of Honor.
The display will be at the Illinois State Capitol November 7-19, recognizing veterans from across Illinois and sharing their stories with visitors. It is an opportunity to recognize a family member, friend, neighbor or fellow service member whose service deserves to be remembered.
To participate, please send a photo and a written story of up to 250 words, along with the veteran’s name, military branch and conflict or era of service, to veteransday@sgop.ilga.gov by November 6.
