State Senator Li Arellano, Jr is inviting residents of the 37th District to help spread kindness this Valentine’s Day by taking part in his annual Valentine’s for Seniors Card Drive.
The initiative encourages community members to create or sign Valentine’s Day cards that will be delivered to local seniors, offering a simple but meaningful reminder that they are valued and remembered. Each card helps brighten someone’s day and strengthens the connection between generations across the district.
“This card drive is about connection,” Senator Arellano said. “Taking just a few minutes to write a card can make a real difference and remind our seniors that their community cares about them.”
Homemade or store-bought cards are welcome, and residents are encouraged to include messages of appreciation, encouragement, or well wishes. Cards must be received by February 2, 2026.
Cards can be dropped off or mailed to Senator Arellano’s district office at 86 South Galena Avenue, Suite 2, in Dixon. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents planning to deliver cards in person are asked to call ahead to ensure staff availability.
