State Senator Li Arellano, Jr has partnered with the Illinois Tollway to host an I-PASS On Demand event on Monday, May 19, in Rochelle. The event is designed to help motorists update their I-PASS technology from plastic transponders to the new Sticker Tags.
The I-PASS On Demand event will take place from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rochelle City Hall, 420 North 6th Street. Participants are reminded to bring their driver’s licenses and license plate numbers to present to Illinois Tollway officials. Attendees should also be prepared for brief wait times.
Illinois Tollway officials will assist attendees with transferring to the new sticker technology without disrupting their I-PASS account activity. They will also be available to answer questions about I-PASS accounts and resolve Pay By Plate issues.
Once activated, the Sticker Tag can be used on the Illinois Tollway and E-ZPass roadways in other states within 24 hours. There is no deposit required for the Sticker Tag, and the $10 transponder deposit will be transferred to the new account upon activation.
