Senator Arellano Meets with Community Leaders Across the 37th District

State Senator Li Arellano Jr has spent much of the past few weeks meeting with groups across the 37th District as he prepares to return to Springfield. These conversations allow him to hear directly from local leaders and community members about the issues that matter most.

Among the recent meetings, Senator Arellano sat down with the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS to discuss housing challenges facing Illinois families, as well as the Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans to discuss ongoing medicaid reforms. He also met with members of the Lee and Woodford County Farm Bureaus, as well as the Illinois Farm Bureau, to talk about the current state of agriculture and the needs of farmers in the region.

“Meeting with these groups is essential to creating the best possible legislation,” Senator Arellano said. “If I don’t hear their concerns directly, I can’t effectively advocate for them or the people they serve. I encourage any group in the 37th District to reach out and share their input.”

Constituents or organizations interested in meeting with Senator Arellano can do so by visiting his website or contacting their local district office.
